Chapter 241 - Raid

After drinking and talking until the break of dawn,

Hayoung and Seoyoung had fallen asleep, clinging to me like I was a human body pillow.

That dizzying day for the three of us finally passed,

And fortunately, I managed to wake up this time without my entire body aching.

Even though I had mostly recovered, Hayoung arranged for me to get some extra rest,

And thanks to the female Executives taking turns "nursing" me, I was able to stay away from my official duties for a full week.

Of course, during that week of "rest"...

I couldn't exactly relax. Hayoung and Seoyoung were constantly pouncing on me.

Then there was Yu-jin, who rushed at me like a wolf in heat and fucked me all day long...

And Ji-ha, who used various devices to make me wail and scream in pleasure.

Surprisingly, Suhyeon was actually quite affectionate during our time in bed together.

Anyway, after spending my entire break being used by all the female Executives... I felt like I hadn't rested at all, even though I was technically off the clock.

"You call this... rest...? No way..."

Completely drained, I leaned against the sofa like a corpse, despair leaking from my voice.

Having worked nothing but "night shifts" throughout my vacation, I finally returned to my actual job.

Step, step—

Dressed in a sharp black suit for the first time in a while, I entered the office looking neat and professional...

"It's been a while, Minseo-nim!"

"Hello, Executive-nim."

I walked in to warm greetings from the subordinates.

"Has everyone been well? I caught a nasty flu... so I had no choice but to take a week off."

I spoke with an awkward, slightly embarrassed smile.

"Ayy~ As long as you're back and healthy, that's all that matters."

"Exactly!"

The subordinates nodded, accepting my excuse without question.

Phew... thank god.

I couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief at their reaction.

The luckiest thing for me right now was...

That only a very small number of people in the Mafia organization knew the true nature of my relationship with the female Executives.

To the general employees, I was just an ordinary Executive.

The fact that I was a Police spy, and that I had been reduced to a Sex Slave for the female Executives before being reinstated...

Was a secret known only to those at the very top.

If the employees knew what I really was...

They wouldn't be talking to me so casually.

They wouldn't just stop greeting me; the very way they looked at me would change.

Relieved by that thought, I went into my office and started tackling the backlogged work.

After immersing myself in the paperwork for a while...

"Huh...?"

I tilted my head in confusion.

I expected a mountain of work after being gone for a week,

But it was much lighter than I thought. It looked like I could finish everything in half a day.

"What's going on?"

Feeling suspicious, I sent a message to Hayoung.

'I thought your workload was getting a bit heavy, so I scaled it back. From now on, if it's too much, just say so. Be honest with me.'

That was the reply I got from Hayoung noona.

"Where did this come from all of a sudden...?"

Since I had been struggling with the increasing pressure lately, I couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude toward her.

In reality, the reason my workload had been reduced was because of a conversation Hayoung and Seoyoung had while drinking a few days ago.

"Eonni, don't you think Minseo's workload is a bit much lately?"

"Is it?"

Seoyoung was the one to bring it up,

And Hayoung began to listen intently.

"Yeah. It feels like he's struggling because there's so much to do.

That's probably why he hasn't been contacting us as much. How about we cut him some slack?"

Hayoung looked thoughtful for a moment...

"That way, Minseo can call us more often and spend more time with us."

Seoyoung threw out the clincher to the hesitating Hayoung.

After I returned to my position as an Executive, Hayoung had been giving me real responsibilities because she genuinely valued my abilities.

She wasn't trying to drown me in work, just giving me what she thought I could handle.

However, Seoyoung's logic was hard to argue with.

Because I didn't just have to handle the paperwork... I had to handle their "love" as well.

"...That makes sense. I'll reduce his load."

Hayoung nodded and accepted the suggestion...

And that was how my workload ended up being cut in half.

Having no idea that I would soon have to endure their "love" even more intensely,

I just smiled, happy to have less work for once.

Just then!

A message from Seoyoung popped up on my phone.

Ding!

"What does Seoyoung want?"

I checked the message.

'Minseo-ya, look for a Security Guard when you have some time. I'm worried after what happened recently.'

What happened recently...?

Ah... the kidnapping at the Amusement Park...

My expression turned serious at the reminder.

A few days ago, while Seoyoung and I were out at the Amusement Park,

I had been snatched by a group of strange women.

And that wasn't the only time I'd been kidnapped lately.

There was the time Seo Ji-yu took me,

And the time that Police officer, Yoon Seol, got her hands on me...

Thinking about how I'd been in life-threatening situations three times already...

I could see why the female Executives were so paranoid about my safety.

"I guess I really do need some personal protection."

I muttered to myself, deciding I needed to find someone reliable to watch my back.

Just like how Hayoung always had her dependable Secretary, Choi Su-hyeon, by her side.

*

It had been nearly three weeks since I decided to find my own Secretary and Security Guard.

During that time... I had interviewed dozens of people...

But they were all useless.

Most of them were just people who showed up because they'd heard of the "Baekhwa" Mafia's reputation.

They didn't have the skills for real Security work or the competence for Secretary duties;

They were just looking for a prestigious title.

Since we were a Mafia organization, we were recruiting quietly and selectively,

But even so, in my eyes, every single applicant was unqualified.

"Haah... this is all Choi Su-hyeon's fault..."

I let out a sigh, rubbing my throbbing temples.

My standards for a Secretary and Security Guard hadn't been this high originally...

But because of Hayoung's Secretary, Choi Su-hyeon, my expectations had skyrocketed.

Having seen her perfect efficiency and flawless combat skills day in and day out, my eyes had become far too discerning.

"Everyone around me is just too perfect..."

I sighed again and cleared away the stack of resumes in front of me.

After a full day of alternating between paperwork and interviews, it was already midnight...

"Ugh... let's just go home."

I finished tidying up the dark office—the other employees had long since left—and hurried out.

Ding!

As soon as I stepped out, a message from Hayoung arrived.

'Where are you? Aren't you staying out too late?'

Seeing her worried text, I quickly typed back.

'It's okay, noona. There are staff members nearby.'

I sent the reassuring reply and hurried toward my car.

Currently, I had three temporary Security Guards assigned to me.

"Sorry. I ended up staying a bit later than expected today."

I apologized to the guard waiting for me...

"No, sir. You don't need to worry about that."

The guard shook his head with a professional, clipped tone and moved toward the car.

"Let's get home quickly—"

Just as the car door opened and I was about to slide into the back seat...

Thwack!

One of my Security Guards was slammed violently against the car by a brutal kick.

"Who's there?!"

My eyes widened as it happened in a flash.

The remaining two guards immediately shielded me and took a fighting stance.

"Haah... it's been a while, Kang Minseo."

Three women wearing black masks and hats emerged from the shadows.

It was a pitch-black night, and with their faces covered, it was impossible to tell who they were.

"Who the hell are you?!"

One of the guards shouted a threat, but...

Whoosh!

The three women vanished back into the darkness instantly.

The air went silent...

In that suffocating tension, the calm before the storm...

Zip!

The raid began in earnest.

The three women, having circled through the shadows, reappeared in the light,

Launching a blistering assault on my guards.

Crack!

Thud!

My guards were supposed to be top-tier, but...

These women were on an entirely different level.

With terrifying precision, they landed blows on the guards' ribs, legs, and solar plexuses...

Swish—

Snap!

They danced around the guards' fists, dodging effortlessly before delivering devastating counters...

"Gah!"

"Minseo-nim! Run—!"

BAM!

Thwack!

"Urgh...!"

In less than a minute...

All three of my Security Guards had been neutralized, left groaning on the pavement.

"Shit..."

I didn't even have a chance to run. Cold sweat broke out across my skin as I looked between the three masked women.

"Shall we have a little private chat in the alley?"

"Though it'll be the last conversation you ever have."

"If you scream... you die right here."

One of the women pulled a sharp knife from her pocket, pressed the blade against my waist, and spoke in a voice like ice.

"...I get it."

I swallowed hard and raised my hands in surrender.

And just like that, the three women led me away into the deserted, silent alleyway.
