Chapter 33 - Setting Materials (Map)

This is a map of the entire Kingdom of Roadberg.

This is the area around the Arqvist Baronetcy and the Koenitz Viscounty.
This shows the approximate positional relationship of each territory and terrain; the scale is not accurate.
〇 Kingdom of Roadberg
The country that serves as the main stage for the story.
The population is approximately 2 million, and it is known as a great power that stands a head above its surroundings in the southern part of this continent.
Conflicts are currently occurring with the neighboring Kingdom of Lancel to the west and the Pallas Empire to the east.
It takes approximately one month to travel from one end of the kingdom to the other (by foot or carriage).
The reason it took Noein three months to start pioneering in the northwest after being kicked out of their family home in the southern part of the kingdom was because they were traveling leisurely while enjoying the first free life of their existence, and because they were waiting until the season suitable for pioneering (spring) arrived.
・Arqvist Baronetcy
Noein's territory. It is a part of the Bezel Great Forest, and until Noein began pioneering, it was just a forest untouched by human hands.
In terms of area alone, it is large enough to rival the neighboring Koenitz Viscounty, but since the forest spreads endlessly and monsters appear, steady pioneering is necessary for development.
In the shallow parts of the Bezel Great Forest, there are only weak monsters, but as one goes deeper, ferocious monsters appear, making it very difficult to traverse; thus, it serves as a natural border separating the Kingdom of Roadberg and the neighboring Kingdom of Lancel to the west.
・Koenitz Viscounty
The neighboring noble territory. Until Noein began pioneering the Arqvist Baronetcy, it was the northwestern edge of the Kingdom of Roadberg.
Though it is a frontier, it has mines and granary regions, and since it is geographically removed from war, it is reasonably wealthy.
・Kivileft Earldom
One of the foremost large territories in the Kingdom of Roadberg, possessing a port that serves as a trade hub with the south.
The gap between rich and poor is extreme, and furthermore, because the current Earl Kivileft (Noein's biological father) favors only the great merchants who give him bribes, the economic disparity is continuing to widen. Discriminatory feelings toward beastfolk are also strong.
For the time being, they will hardly appear except for the beginning.
