Rodney inherited the knightly title after his father's death in battle, becoming the ruler of the desolate Dedel territory in the northernmost frontier. However, the knightly family was burdened with enormous debt. He could barely afford to pay the interest, and the debt was growing exponentially.

The moment he opened a book left behind by his father, Rodney was swallowed by a light. He found himself remembering memories of a past life, but it was from a different world. He couldn't remember his name or information about his parents and siblings from his previous life, but he had gained knowledge of an advanced civilization.

Burdened by debt, Rodney started an industry and entered the Labyrinth to acquire a special power called primordial power. Fortunately, his maternal grandfather was a merchant, so with his cooperation, he was able to sell local products. He managed to pay off , raise the wages of his soldiers, which had been low, and strengthen his army by improving their equipment, thus achieving national prosperity and military strength. Eventually, people heard about him and he came to be known as the "Monster of the Northernmost Territory."

Chapter four (episode 68) takes place 50 years after Rodney's story.
